Abbatial church and "Sainte Chapelle"

The 12th century abbey is a perfect example of two main architecture : Roman architecture and Radiant gothic architecture.
Lenght of 62 meters, widht of 19 meters and a height of almost 20 meters.
The plan of the abbatial church is traditionnal : nave of eight bays with narrow side aisle, choir depthless and a great ambulatory.

Sainte-Chapelle
This chapel was built in 1259 under the reign of Saint-Louis. It looks like the Sainte Chapelle in Paris. Next to the abbatial church, it is a great example of cathedral dedicated to the Virgin Mary.
The magnificient rose at the entrance contribute to make this chapel a master piece of radiant gothic architecture.
